Lecture Series – Summer Semester 2025
The Faculty of Humanities at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg invites you to this year’s interdisciplinary lecture series, taking place during the summer semester of 2025. The series focuses on pressing societal issues such as racism, right-wing extremism, and right-wing populism—both within Germany and across Europe.

Wednesdays, 5–7 PM (c. t.)
Venue: Building 44, Lecture Hall 6
Exception: Final event on July 9 in Building 50, Lecture Hall 3
Renowned scholars and experts from various disciplines will present their insights on far-right ideologies, polarization, and democratic challenges. Topics range from historical developments of right-wing violence to current debates on media, education, language, and gender.
